Stringbags $16.99
This is a set of rules for WWI, and includes data for more than 150 aircraft flown during the war, by nine nations, in three theaters. 3-D movement is provided for, by placing an indicator next to the aircraft to represent height. Aircrew skills are critical, and different types of machine guns are provided for in the rules. Each player can handle as many as four planes each, and there are rules to balance scenarios. They also cover ammo expenditure, mechanical unreliability, and campaigns.

Duel of Eagles $11.99
Duel of Eagles is a set of rules for WWII, and has stats for 138 different aircraft from a variety of theaters, e.g. Western Europe, the Mediterranean, the Pacific, and the Russian Front. It is an excellent set of rules, and uses D10's with modifiers for spotting, initiative, gunnery, and damage resolution. No hexmat is required for play, which permits people new to aerial gaming to get started quickly, and more economically. They use curved turning templates for maneuvering, which are measured off in cms., with one cm. used for each 10 MPH/Knots of airspeed. 3-D maneuvering is provided for, and there are special rules for fancy maneuvers like Immelmans, Split-S', etc., a page for generating scenarios, and even a one page set of rules for running a mini-campaign, if desired. Most of the rules are included on a single, double-sided quick reference card, to help speed play.

Clash of Sabres $11.99
Clash of Sabres is a set of rules designed for post-WWII through the 1970's, and permits quick-play dogfights using historical tactics, and permitting realistic outcomes. I have created unofficial aircraft stats and special rules to extend them into the 1980's to permit you to refight the Iran-Iraq and Falklands Conflicts, by adding stats for the Sea Harrier, Harrier GR.3, and Vulcan, as well as the Mig-23, Mirage F.1, and a few others. There are stats for 120 aircraft included with the rules, and they permit you to game Korea, Vietnam, India vs. Pakistan, Greece vs. Turkey, China vs. Taiwan, Iran vs. Iraq, the Falklands Conflict, the African conflicts, and the Middle East Wars between the Arabs and Israelis. There are rules for initiative, visual spotting, radar detection and locks, missile spotting and evasion, and damage resolution. There is even a simple set of rules to permit you to run a mini-campaign too, if desired. Most of the rules are included on a single, double-sided quick reference sheet to help speed play.

Fox-Two Reheat $16.99
If you need a more modern set of rules for your games, this set covers most of the latest operational aircraft being used around the globe, back to the post-WWII era. They are quite comprehensive, with a points system for generating balanced scenarios, rules for flak and SAM's in addition to air-to-air combat, as well as for spotting and attacking ground targets with aircraft too, if you want to do a little ground-pounding on your sorties. 3-D maneuvering is also included in this rules set.

This is another set of rules for WWII, and includes data for more than 210 aircraft flown during the war, by various nations. Point values and 3-D movement are provided for, as well as rules for aircrew skills, spotting, mechanical unreliability, etc. There are also rules for level and dive bombing; strafing, torpedo, and rocket attacks; and kamikaze raids. Flak and night-fighting rules are also included, as well as ideas for setting up a game, and data for a number of experimental weapons. Another nice touch that I haven’t seen in other rules is a listing of the aircraft available by each side, for different theaters and periods, in case you are new to aerial wargaming, or are unfamiliar with the types flown against one another in a new geographical area.
Angels 15 – Aircraft Data Supplement for Scramble $16.99
This is not a stand-alone product, but is a data supplement for Scramble, containing performance statistics for more than 560 aircraft. There are also 21 pages of data that list all of the aircraft used in the various periods and theaters during the war, as well as the years leading up to WWII, like the Spanish Civil War. This listing is much more comprehensive than those in the original Scramble rules.

Action Stations $16.99
This is a set of rules designed for WWI and WWII Coastal Forces actions, using: PT Boats, MTB’s and MGB’s, S-Boats, R-Boats, and Torpedo Boats, MAS Boats, Corvettes, Frigates, Destroyers, and other vessels.
It was originally designed for use with 1/600th scale vessels, but other scales like 1/300th, 1/700th, and 1/1200th scale vessels may be used too, if desired.
This set includes rules for: crew quality; weather; initiative determination; visual spotting, and audio, and radar detection; using searchlights and starshells, since most battles took place at night; movement; gunnery; damage resolution; shore batteries; submarines; q-ships; mine warfare; and integrating aircraft into your battles, including rules for air-to-air, air-to-sea, and sea-to-air combat. Stats are provided for more than 140 vessels, and 90 aircraft. These rules provide an excellent tactical feel for coastal forces actions, from 1914 - 1953. They provide the opportunity to refight skirmishes in the Channel, the Med and the Pacific with MTB attacks on convoys, and similar furious engagements.

Bulldogs Away! $16.99
The rules are for the recreation of small naval engagements with Fast Attack Craft such as missile boats and smaller warships, mainly in coastal waters. The period covered runs from the 1950’s onwards, and allows also for the use of aircraft and helicopters.
These can be used with 1/700th - 1/3000th scale miniatures.
An important aspect of the rules is that the units can start as unidentified “blips”, which might be dummies, and there is a simple detection and identification system that changes the status to “contact” (detected as an enemy vessel) and “target” where the model is deployed. If you can get out of radar “sight” then you can revert to “blip” status again. The shooting system allows for guns and missiles of various types, and damage is recorded in a graded system with 5 states from intact to sunk, with critical hits too. There are rules for operating helicopters from ships, as well as for anti aircraft fire with guns and missiles, and additional rules for unconventional craft (semi-submersibles, surface effect ships, hydrofoils, hovercraft, Ekranoplans, and suicide craft); mine warfare; and operations against coastal targets. There are 140 sets of ship data from over 40 countries. Extensive data tables for missiles, torpedoes, guns, rockets, SAM systems, AAM’s, ships, helicopters and aircraft are also included.
Shipwreck $19.99
This is a D10 based rules system for modern naval warfare, with the emphasis placed on playability, while still providing for a range of tactical options. They are much easier to use for games than some other more complex rules systems, and yet still provide a realistic result. The rules are all-inclusive, and permit you to conduct surface, submarine, and aerial operations easily, without too much book-keeping. There is a modeling guide, and an introductory scenario included, as well as detailed statistics for various ships, subs, and aircraft. The rules can be used with any scale of miniatures.
Freeplay '88 $17.99
A scenario supplement to Shipwreck, this provides information on battlegroups of opposing vessels, in a hypothetical wargames simulation run in the North Atlantic and Barents Sea by NATO. Included is detailed info on the composition of the various task groups, as well as nine scenarios that can be played as stand-alone games. You can also use the forces to run a campaign, if desired, since a hex map of the region is provided too.
New ship record sheets, and detailed loadouts for the jets are provided. These are highly recommended for use with the basic rules, due to the variety of scenarios available.
Here are some photos of various miniatures from our personal collection, that work very well with the rules listed on this page. We hope you enjoy them.
